About Us
Adi Shree Kaveri Foundation Trust
Adi Shree Kaveri Foundation Trust is a nonprofit organization established in the year 1994 in Hebbal Kempapura Village, Bangalore District, Karnataka. Our NGO runs Soukya Old Age Home at Dasarahalli. Currently, the old age home hosts 8 elderly residents. We aim to disabuse the popular mindset that regards old age with a sense of pity for their helplessness. Replacing it with an attitude of confidence, fostering respect for them, and encouraging fortitude in them. And bringing a little certainty, even fun into their lives. Our goal has proposed to establish moral and spiritual institutions such as Adi Kaveri Vidya Petha, Prathana Mandir, Home for the Aged, Training for Blind, Annadhana Shibira, Guest House Vidyarthi Nilaya, etc.

Our Programs
Soukhya Old Age Home
Our NGO has undertaken the construction of Soukhya a hermitage for the needy aged people. The foundation for the hermitage was laid by Padma Bhooshana Netradhani Dr. M C Modi at Marianna Palya, Near Coffee Board Layout, Bangalore. Elderly people suffer due to a decline in their physical strength, eyesight problems, hearing, and sensory function, retirement, economic problem, loneliness, disability, and dependence on others. All these problems make them depressed. To assist such elderly person who requires care, counseling respect, and assistance and to utilize their vast talent and experience 'Soukhya' is being constructed. The main aim is to provide space and opportunity for elders to come together and spend their time so that they may be engaged in activities. Age people are free to stay at Soukhya for life long.

We celebrated Children's Day every year on November 14 at our office. As many as 12 people, including children from 5 slums, students from various social work colleges, and people from different slums, participated in the program.Members
